PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The dock has a simple, unobtrusive design that won't take up a bunch of room on your desk. The front features a large “DockMaster” logo as well as a Kingwin logo. The latter will illuminate blue when powered on and flicker during drive activity.

At the back of the unit is where the power button, USB 3.0 port, and socket for the power adapter are located. If you don't have a USB 3.0 port on your system yet but plan to upgrade in the future, you can still use USB 2.0 in the meantime. Backward compatibility is a great thing!

Looking at the top of the dock, the SATA connector is visible inside and will accept 3.5” drives as well as 2.5” laptop drives.

Four small circular pads are on the bottom to help prevent the unit from sliding around. When combined with the weight of a full size hard drive they work okay, but if you're using a 2.5” drive it doesn't take much for the dock to move around.
