PRODUCT FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

The V100 is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities. You have the option of buying just the bare drive or springing for a desktop or notebook kit. The desktop kit includes mounting brackets and SATA cables, while the notebook kit contains a 2.5” USB enclosure for your old drive. Both kits include Acronis True Image HD drive cloning software.
This review will focus on the 128GB notebook kit. The drive itself boasts some pretty impressive speeds of 250MB/s read and 230MB/s write. Later on in the review I'll be putting the drive through some benchmark tests to see if it can in fact reach those advertised speeds.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

All pertinent information about the drive is listed out on the front of the box, while some additional information in multiple languages is found on the back. Inside the box, you'll find the drive and accessories sandwiched between two plastic trays to protect them during shipping.

Accessories include a 2.5” USB enclosure, USB cable, and a CD that contains a PDF manual and drive cloning software. Pricing for this 128GB kit is as low as $224 US from online retailers, and some careful shopping might turn up a rebate as well.
