THERMALTAKE KANDALF LCS INTRODUCTION

In all good stories, you have the hero and the villain. The hero stands the test of time, enduring the scars, and sometimes transforming into something even more wonderful than before. Meanwhile, the villain always falls to the hero's greater strength, power, and…..well…….heroishness.
Almost two years ago, which is a long time as far as computer hardware goes, Thermaltake released the Kandalf. Feature-laden, well-constructed, it sat heads and shoulders above the competing cases. Not many could deny the power and grace (as well as sheer size) of the Kandalf.
As good as the Kandalf was, though, Thermaltake decided to update the case in several ways, both cosmetically and functionally. Most notable, though, is the new LCS moniker, which stands for Liquid Cooling System. These upgrades place the Kandalf LCS firmly in its position as the flagship case of the Armor series.
In many ways, this is a whole new kettle of stew for me. While this is not only my first review of a Thermaltake product, it's also my first venture into water cooling.
Read along, as I follow the Kandalf LCS on a new adventure, and let's see where that road takes us.
