Product Introduction & Specifications

This introduction will be broken down into two parts to reflect the two specific products being reviewed.

Today's society seems to be on a permanent speed rush. Everyone is rushing here, rushing there, stressed out, full of anxiety, carrying a small office in an overnight bag. Modern products have also adopted this trend by having their size decreased, their weight lessened, their features increased and their versatility tripled. If the going trend continues, in 150 years, you will be able to throw a pill into a pond and have a seaside resort develop.

Today I am going to review a couple of small, yet versatile products from our friends at iRock. Stay tuned and read the article, these two are products have developed into a mainstay in my day to day life.

iRock 520 Digital MP3 Player

Are you sick of dealing with a large, bulky CD player, dragging it along on trips, or dealing with it skipping repeatedly while you do your daily jog, well, with this little guy, your grief is gone. It's small, it's solid state memory (no disks or skipping, everything is stored on a chip), and it's reasonable and has no internal moving parts to wear out, to get dirty or to break. Plus, it's light as a feather and can be held within an enclosed hand.

Specifications:

-32 or 64 meg Built-in Memory
-Expandable to 96 or 128 megs with Removable SmartMedia ™ Cards
-Dynamic LCD Display
-Fast USB interface
-Includes all needed PC Software (Rio Based)

iRock 300W FM Wireless Transmitter

Ever have that new song you just downloaded *cough* or ripped from a friend's CD and you would like to play it in your car but unfortunately your car doesn't support CD-R's or has a lowly tape player and you don't want to make a tape anymore, well, a wireless FM transmitter may be your new best friend. To simplify it, think of it as a personal radio station in which you can transmit anything it is connected to (through a stereo headphone jack) through your car radio, or any radio in fact, but I will explain more in the product setup and features.

Specifications:

- Local Fm transmitter
- Plugs into any stereo headphone jack
- Transmits on your choice of (88.1Mhz, 88.3Mhz, 88.5Mhz, 88.7Mhz)
- Stereo Transmission
- Good within 10-15ft of Radio
