Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0
Intel has optimized Intel® Turbo Boost Technology¹ to provide even more performance when needed on the latest-generation Intel® microarchitecture code name Sandy Bridge . Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 automatically allows processor cores to run faster than the base operating frequency if it's operating below power, current, and temperature specification limits.
When the processor is operating below these limits and the user's workload demands additional performance, the processor frequency will dynamically increase until the upper limit of frequency is reached. Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 has multiple algorithms operating in parallel to manage current, power, and temperature to maximize performance and energy efficiency. Note: Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 allows the processor to operate at a power level that is higher than its rated upper power limit (TDP) for short durations to maximize performance.
Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel® HT Technology)
Delivers two processing threads per physical core for a total of 8 threads for massive computational throughput, allowing highly threaded applications to get more work done faster.
Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel® HT Technology)¹ uses processor resources more efficiently, enabling multiple threads to run on each core. Intel® HT Technology increases processor throughput, improving overall performance on threaded software.

Intel Smart Cache
This large last-level cache enables dynamic and efficient allocation of shared cache to all four cores to match the needs of various applications for ultra-efficient data storage and manipulation. Intel® Smart Cache is dynamically allocated to each processor core based on workload, which significantly reduces latency and improves performance.
Intel® HD Graphics
Intel® HD Graphics enables superior mainstream gaming and 3D experiences without the need for a discrete graphics card. Now, you can enjoy immersiveF gaming on titles that are optimized for Intel HD Graphics. Intel HD Graphics delivers up to 3X performance over previous-generation Intel HD Graphics with additional headroom for tomorrow's games. Plus, it integrates advanced 3D processing for stunning visual experiences that put you right into the middle of the action.
Intel HD Graphics is next-generation graphics technology in 2nd generation Intel® Core processors. Intel HD Graphics integrates high-performance graphics and media processing right on the processor , putting the two key gaming components CPU processing and graphics together on a single chip. Two versions of Intel HD Graphics are available: Intel® HD Graphics 3000 and Intel® HD Graphics 2000.
Intel HD Graphics take advantage of graphics being integrated into the processor, thus significantly boosting performance, while eliminating the need for separate hardware and the design and performance challenges that accompany them. The graphics engine includes more, redesigned execution units (EUs) and enhanced 3D functionality.
