CONCLUSIONS & AFTERTHOUGHTS

I was fairly disappointed with this product, and it isn't because I went into this review with high hopes. I figured it would be a very simple device with limited use, not to mention a limited target audience.

There are too many issues with the unit however. The stereo connector, the writing on the faceplate, the loss of the case HDD activity LED and the lack of any real options leave me craving a better display.

It's not that I was expecting a full-blown LCD display like my Matrix Orbital… but rather that I was expecting a stylish, fun, active signal display model.

Pros

· Extremely bright lights will stand out at LAN parties
· Easy installation

Cons

· Stereo cable through open PCI slot ticks me off
· Having to splice my outbound sound ticks me off more
· 'Y' adapter is too big
· Too much writing on the faceplate ruins what could have otherwise been a stylish display
· Not enough equalizer display options. Either mundane or insane. No in between.
· Absolutely hate having to give up my case HDD activity LED

If you have any questions or comments on this front audio display, please post them in our forums HERE.
