In Win's X-Fighter has a distinctive look, that's for sure. Incorporating several colors, textures and materials, the case makes a bold statement yet doesn't look out of proportion or too anime/comic book-like. The shiny bits of the chassis are fingerprint magnets, but I like the overall look and style of the X-Fighter. I may be missing something, but I don't see the Star Wars tie-in.
The raised side panel appliance is an important part of the “Smart 3-D Uniduct” cooling system that we'll look at a bit later, but while we're here…

…there are some operational (and functional) louvers here that not only help with cooling the case, but add a bit of visual interest as well. The red accent is a metal mesh material that provides air intake for the cooling system, but one can't see through it to the interior and there are no window features either.

The profile of the X-Fighter isn't your standard regular rectangle. In Win has made liberal use of plastic fixtures to give this case a more sleek and streamlined look.

Just behind the vent appliance are the catches that secure the side panels to the case. There are two on each side panel and the ones on this side are helpfully labeled. They seem to work well and require no tools to operate.

Moving to the front, there are some interesting design elements to look at. For example, the four big bay covers are angled to resemble louvers and the area near the bottom of the case looks like (and in fact is) a ventilation grid as well. In between…
