PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

FEATURES

Star Wars Design

Inspired by spacecrafts from the Star Wars films, the silver aluminum stripes compliment the hard steel and geometric lines. Stunning lighting effects exhibit an out-of-this-world experience like nothing you've ever seen before.

Triangular Feet

The base of the chassis is held up with a set of four triangular feet giving your chassis a three-dimensional futuristic look.

Innovative Adjustable Thermal Exhaust Vents

Exclusively from In Win, the adjustable thermal exhaust vents provide a complete cooling solution that mold themselves to meet your desired thermal needs.

LED Light Dances to The Beats

The Power and HDD lights dance to the beat of your power supply usage and hard drive speed.

Easy Access

The USB, Firewire, and audio interface ports are located at the top of the X-Fighter allowing quick access to headsets, cameras, external HDs, and other connection devices.

From the specs, it looks like the X-Fighter is a steel mid-tower chassis accepting ATX and uATX motherboards and ATX PSUs. Pretty standard fare, but I'm excited to take a look at the thermal solutions in this case. Featurewise, In Win promises some interesting lighting effects and some unique styling elements. We'll go over these in more detail in the next sections.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

In Win has gone all-out on the packaging. Bold graphics and an outer space motif dovetail with the image In Win is trying to demonstrate with this chassis. Inside the box…

…the X-Fighter is encased in a protective plastic bag and sandwiched between two soft foam blocks. A manual and hardware bag are placed outside the case, so you won't have to fumble around trying to figure out how to open the case, and the hardware won't be banging around inside scratching up the finish. Believe me, I've had experience with both of these issues.

In Win includes six expansion bay covers, a feature I'd like to see more companies do. The hardware assortment is very sparse, but not to worry. As we explore the X-Fighter in more detail you'll see the reason for this. A 3-pin to 4-pin fan adapter rounds out the accessories here, but there's more to come when we crack the case open. The comprehensive user's manual is on the fold-out variety, lavishly illustrated with color pictures and printed on glossy paper. Nice! Now, let's get a closer look at the X-Fighter.
