PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

As you can see from the above information, the Maelstrom is a large, full-featured case with room for the largest motherboards and all the other hardware to go along with it. As we progress through this review, you’ll get a chance to take a look at the many convenience, expandability and acoustic features In Win has included with this big boy.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The carton graphics boldly state that the Maelstrom is, “Ready to sweep across the world.” I’m not sure what this means exactly, but the box has a swirly graphic and the case certainly appears to have a unique look.

In Win didn’t scrimp on the packaging either. The maelstrom arrived in a sturdy cardboard carton and the case itself is wrapped in a heavy plastic bag nestled between two closed-cell foam blocks. The small plastic bag at the bottom holds some installation hardware that we’ll go over shortly.

In addition to the fold-out user’s manual, In Win includes a speaker and a couple of fan power adaptors, a big bag of screws and standoffs, two cable management aids as well as two rubber bumpers for extra long power supplies. There are also some more goodies inside the case that we’ll get to shortly.
