PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

Since the enclosure takes up two 5.25" bays, it is the same size as two optical drives stacked on top of each other. Construction is very sturdy with an aluminum body and plastic drive doors.

On one side of the front bezel is an eSATA port, USB 2.0 port, and a power button for each individual drive. The power buttons have to be pushed in slightly more than normal, which is good because that makes it difficult for the drives to be accidentally powered on or off. Rounding out this area is another cool feature - a switch that controls the cooling fan. You have the choice of having the fan on high speed, low speed, or automatically controlled.

Each of the three doors are released via latches to reveal a tray-less interior. There are rails along each side of the enclosure that the drives rest on and no tools are required to install a drive. Hot-swapping looks like it will be a breeze with this product.

Plenty of screw holes are provided for installing inside a case, and Icy Dock was kind enough to provide a couple different sizes of screws to secure the enclosure.
