ICY DOCK MB973SP-B INTRODUCTION
Many modern computer cases have lots of 5.25" drive bays and only a few 3.5" bays, which seems a little backwards to me. Most system builders only use one or two optical drives, leaving several empty bays that are never used. On the flip side, With storage becoming so inexpensive it's easy to fill up 3.5" bays pretty quickly. Wouldn't it be nice if you could use those unused 5.25" bays for additional hard drives? Icy Dock thought so, and today's review item is the result. The Icy Dock MB973SP-B SATA Internal Backplane will allow you to install three hard drives inside your case while taking up just two 5.25" bays.
