PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The dimensions of this keyboard are considerably smaller than a standard size one, but the most important keys (letters and numbers) are still full size and therefore do not feel cramped. There is also a full 10-key numeric keypad on the right side, which is pretty impressive for a keyboard of this size.

Placement of the Windows key is on the left side, which seems odd for a gaming keyboard. A common gripe among gamers (including myself) is the accidental pressing of this key while in a game. This can cause the game screen to switch to a windowed mode or minimize completely, resulting in some frustrating moments. I would have preferred that I-Rocks move the Windows key to the right side or simply leave it out altogether.

On the right side is where the layout becomes a little more unconventional, and this is how I-Rocks was able to manage such a compact design while keeping the majority of the keys full size. Some keys, like the arrow and function keys are squished together and smaller however, so keep that in mind if you use them a lot. Other keys like page up/page down are not where you would expect them to be, so becoming familiar with this layout could take some time.

The number lock, caps lock, and scroll lock are in the upper right area. There is one additional button here which is for turning the backlighting on or off.

There's not much to speak of on the back side, other than two retractable stands for raising the keyboard up at a slight angle. There are also a couple small rubber pads to help the keyboard remain stationary on your desk. They get the job done, but I would have preferred to see larger pads here.
