VIDEOCARD OVERCLOCKING
Unlike Sapphire's silent HD 5550 which in some cases was unstable even during normal operation, HIS's Silence HD 5570 was very stable which allowed me to see just how far this video card could overclock.
With a stock value of 650Mhz core and 1000Mhz memory set, I pushed this card to its 100% stable ceiling. Through several hours of testing and benchmarking, I finally found a 100% stable overclock of 665Mhz core and 1100Mhz memory which resulted in a 15Mhz core and 100Mhz DDR5 over stock clock rates. This pushed the Pixel Fillrate from 10.4 Gpixels/s to 10.6, the Texture Fillrate from 26.0GTexels/s to 26.6 and the memory bandwidth jumped from 64.0Gb/s to 70.4.
Although the CPU processing specs didn't result in much of a difference, the increased memory bandwidth should help with pushing the framerates ahead slightly with no instability.
