BENCHMARKING

DEVIL MAY CRY 4 (8X AA / 16X AF)

Devil May Cry 4 is an excellent DX10 benchmark with striking visual effects and an excellent integrated benchmark. Performance again pushed ahead of the crowd and was only beaten by a dual core card. Even then, it wasn't by a large margin.

QUAKE WARS: ENEMY TERRITORY BENCHMARK (8X AA / 16X AF)

QT:EW followed the same trend and frame rates were still very acceptable even at 1920x1200 resolution.

CRYSIS HOC CRYTEK BENCHMARK (8X AA / 16X AF)

Crysis and its full use of almost every DX10 quality setting available is the pivotal game to benchmark any recent hardware against. this game even with moderate resolutions can render a fast card unplayable if you increase the only to a medium level.

Again, performance was in line with the other benchmarks. Regardless of a synthetic or real world gaming environment, the card has a lot of value for the money.

CRYSIS WARHEAD HOC CARGO BENCHMARK (8X AA / 16X AF)

This benchmarks eats videocards and spits them out. This is not the card if you want to play this game with decent quality and resolution settings. Stick to the dual core cards or a crossfire setup if you want this game to play properly.

Seeing this benchmark slaughters even the fastest videocards, the mainstream versions would have their work cut out for them to make any sort of headway. But with the HD4890 iCooler x4, this card scaled pretty decently, but still was being challenged by this brutal benchmark at high quality and resolution settings.
