CONCLUSIONS & AFTERTHOUGHTS

There is not a whole lot to say wrong about HIS's final HD4850 release for this chipset. The product does exactly what it was intended to do and that is to be a solid gamer with a quieter and more efficient cooler at a good price. HIS was smart to keep on supporting this product for the next while seeing it will sell very well even today. You can't ask much more for US$125 with an upgraded cooler. Sure it isn't a killer overclocker, but it still does yield some increased performance when overclocked as much as it could handle.

Overall this is a product that does exactly what it is intended to do and that is to supply decent gaming performance at a great price. The only problem is trying to find a store that has these in actual stock.

Pros:

- Decent performance
- Free Game
- Build quality
- Full Hardware and Software Package
- Price

Cons:

- Cooler Cools the GPU only
- Poor availability
