PRODUCT COMPOSITION AND PICTORIAL

Inside the shrink-wrapped box you'll find the Hardcano 13 and all its accessories neatly packaged in a dense white foam cradle.

As you can see, Thermaltake has included everything you'll need for installation. The manual is pretty good, but as we'll see later, lacks a step or two. The driver disk will only be used for Windows 98/2000 and Mac 8.6 and earlier operating systems. Later OS versions support the device natively. A USB adapter cable is provided to connect the Hardcano's card reader to a motherboard USB header. Two 4-pin to 3-pin adapters for fans are included as well as mounting screws, a coin cell battery and thermal tape to mount the thermal sensors.

The four extension leads for 3-pin fans are labeled on both ends to minimize confusion during installation and are about 24 inches long.

The 2-pin temperature sensors are similarly labeled and are a bit longer, measuring about 30 inches end to end. I was frankly surprised to find that none of the leads were sleeved as Thermaltake is very good in this respect on most of its other products.
