The reservoir has a large, sealed cap that is easy to grip and turn. The fill port is big enough that, coupled with the included nozzle, filling the reservoir will be both clean and easy. The barb on the right is for the return line and extends well into the baffled tank to keep air bubbles from circulating in the system.
There is a white float in the suction side of the tank that will shut the system down should fluid level become too low. The pinheader, indicated by the red arrow, accepts the connector from the cable that powers the pump and enables fan speed regulation and the low water/high temperature safety features.
The bottom of the unit has vibration-dampening strips and brass inserts to facilitate mounting. Just visible on the right is the output barb from the pump.
The aluminum radiator incorporates a blue LED 120mm fan and shroud to pull air through the fins. The fan is attached to the shroud, approximately ½-inch from the radiator fins. This will help minimize the effect of the “dead-spot” at the fan blade hub. Tabs on the rear of the unit allow the user a few mounting options, but it's designed to be placed outside the case.
The radiator features ½-inch barbs for the tubing and the 3-pin fantail is sleeved. There are warning labels everywhere a hose connection can be made, but they are easily removed after installation.
