PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The Transformer 4 PLUS comes in a plastic clamshell box that is not easy to open, requiring a knife or scissors. The cardboard flyer insert opens to reveal detailed installation instructions and the mounting hardware is packaged in the white cardboard box shown above. We'll go over all this in the next section of this review.

 

PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The cooler itself has a silvery finish over most of its exposed surfaces, but the heatpipes show a little of their native copper color. The fan has a chrome-like finish that's quite attractive, and the two finishes look good together, not that it makes that much difference. The four, 8mm copper heatpipes have chrome caps on the exposed ends giving them a finished look. Mr. Bones likes the look, but he's more interested in the performance.
