PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The cooler itself has a silvery finish over most of its exposed surfaces, but the heatpipes show a little of their native copper color. The fan has a chrome-like finish that's quite attractive, and the two finishes look good together, not that it makes that much difference. The four copper heatpipes have chrome caps on the exposed ends giving them a finished look.

Evercool has chosen to go with the “direct touch” design scheme for the large 8mm heatpipes. The base is dead flat and the finish is perfectly adequate, while not being highly polished and shiny. The two included fans are quiet (1000 RPM) and stylish, but lack any lighting or other bling, other than their chrome finish.

I'm a bit surprised by the close spacing of the 51 aluminum fins, given the rather modest fan speed. Perhaps the second fan will make up for the relatively low airflow to keep cooling performance in the acceptable range. We'll see a bit later.
