PRODUCT PICTORIAL & WALKTHROUGH (cont'd)
The 80mAh lithium battery is housed in the ear lobe piece and has a full charge capacity of about 7 hours straight talk time and a maximum stand by charge capacity of 168 hours. Of course this will be directly affected by the volume you have the headset set at seeing the louder the volume, the more power it will draw.
Turning the unit over, you will see the actual ear portion of the headset is ergonomically designed and still allows for air flow around the ear so you can avoid the dreaded sweaty ear syndrome. The speaker volume range is set so you cannot crank the volume up high enough to cause any ear damage. Even at the highest setting, it wasn't too loud but I found myself turning it down two levels for optimal comfort in a quiet area. If the environment is a little noisier, you will have to raise it to its maximum.
The microphone is incorporated into the front section of the headset and for its size is actually quite responsive and clear. Seeing I was used to your standard full blown headset with the microphone right in front of your mouth, I wasn't expecting much from a microphone that was placed close to my ear.
All in all, I was very surprised and to prove the clarity, I have added a recorded clip of a recording test HERE.
Overall, one of the best attributes of this headset is the comfort. After two minutes you barely know you are wearing it. It is light, allows for proper ventilation and does not hurt or irritate the ear lobe in any way, shape or form. The buttons are easy to manage and the headset does not try to unlatch itself from your ear when it is in use and you are pressing the buttons and making fine adjustments.
Overall, I can't say anything but it was a pleasure to wear.
While using this product on a mobile phone or computer, please realize that it has to be bluetooth capable before you even consider purchasing this product. You cannot hard wire this headset to any phone or computer in any way.
First thing you will have to do is press the larger button on the headset for about 7 seconds until the blue LED starts to flash quickly. This signal means it is in pairing mode and is searching for a device to wirelessly hook up to. Once it is blinking, have you bluetooth enabled phone to search for a device to connect to. If done properly, the phone will pick up the headset and will commence its' connection routine.
After the wireless negotiation has commenced, the phone will ask you for a PIN code to allow the two devices to mate. The default code to use is 1234 and then hit "OK". You new headset is ready to go.
As mentioned earlier, make sure you have a bluetooth enabled motherboard or adapter installed and setup before commencing the pairing procedure.
Instead of rehashing something that is already been covered, if you want to pair this device to a computer, please feel free to follow the directions HERE.
