This enclosure has many of the same features and specs found on other enclosures in its class, but in addition, it rests on a blue LED base that illuminates whenever it's powered on. Other notable features are a passive cooling system (for silent operation) and steel construction. This enclosure is also compatible with the latest 1.5TB drives.
Only SATA I/II drives are supported on this model but in the event you want to use an IDE drive, Eagle Tech makes an IDE version as well as an IDE/SATA hybrid version of this enclosure.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The ET-CSTESU2-BK is available from many online retailers for around $30 US. The front of the box is splashed with a picture of the unit along with some of the main features. A full listing of the specs is found on the back.
With all the packaging removed, we have the enclosure and some accessories. You get a USB cable, eSATA cable, quick start guide, and CD with a PDF manual and some trial software.
