PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The Kamakaze comes shipped in a fairly small box which is well packed and sufficiently protects the contents from shipping damage.

The contents of the box include;

- CPU cooler (heatsink/fan)
- Retention module
- Socket A bracket
- Socket 478 bracket
- Socket 478 mounting bracket (to replace the existing stock motherboard bracket, although this was not necessary for our testing)
- Instruction sheet

Here is a shot of the P4 replacement mounting bracket. It is a little smaller than stock mounting brackets on Socket 478 motherboards, and facilitates the installation of the Kamakaze.

The fan controller isn't much to look at, but to be honest it is only going to be seen if you are looking at the back of your case. It would have been nice of Scythe to include either a 3.5 or 5.25" front bay fan controller as well. Many other manufacturers give you that choice by including both the back bracket and a front bay insert.
