PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES

Contrary to the features listed on the website, the power supply XG has included with the case sent for review does not have active PFC. APFC is not listed as a feature on the carton, however. I suspect that XG, like other companies, ship APFC power supplies only to the European and Asian markets where grid power can be less than reliable.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The packaging is quite good, and arrived double-boxed from XG. “SLI ready” and “Free $180 value included” are displayed prominently on the carton and we'll discuss these features in more detail later on.

With the packing materials removed, we get a good look at just how extraordinary and striking the Dragon really is. If a red case is not your bag, the Dragon is also available in black, blue, and silver. In addition, a limited availability “Special Edition” Dragon in midnight blue finish can be had at select retailers. The paint is very smooth and shiny, approaching automotive finish quality. Unlike some examples I've seen, the metal body and plastic parts of the chassis match nicely.

Nestled into the top of the packing is what XG calls the “static guard wire management” bracket that attaches to the rear of the case.

Secured inside the Dragon is a cardboard box containing….

….all this stuff. Clockwise from top left you get an entertainment CD, installation manual, PSU power cord, entertainment book, a bag of tool-free drive latches, some zip-ties and installation hardware and two cable-management blocks with adhesive pads.
