The computer mouse has gone through a multitude of different shapes, styles and colors since its inception. While some unique designs have been met with a reasonable amount of success, most of them end up failing when the user reverts back to their trusty two-button mouse with a scroll wheel. It is without a doubt the most popular kind of mouse out there today.
With that said, I've received a review sample in the mail that is unlike any mouse I've ever used – both in form and function. The Orbita is a circular shaped mouse that takes a new spin (literally) on the concept of scrolling. Instead of the usual up and down scrolling, you simply rotate the mouse left or right with your index finger, like you were dialing a rotary phone. It can be used as a secondary mouse for applications that require a lot of scrolling or as a full replacement for your existing mouse. It is compatible with just about any program out there right now too.
