Here you can see that they have included Subwoofers in each ear cup, this should go a long way towards compensating for the smaller driver units lack of bass. As I expected the driver units are significantly lower specification than like priced stereo units. But, as we have seen before, a large part of the quality we hear is determined by the soundscape not so much the driver units themselves. So once again, it all comes down to the testing.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The box the Sonar 5.1 arrived in is certainly eye catching and has a good sturdy feel to it. The package survived its long trip to me in perfect shape.

Included in the box are the headset, driver CD and manual. The manual basically just goes through the driver and software settings. I would recommend you read through this if you purchase this headset as it explains a number of useful functions.
The headset design and color scheme look like they would fit well in a Ferrari pit lane. I love the red metal mesh/black plastic combination used (so I like Italian cars, sue me :P)
