I'll give you a quick couple of shots of the Crucial ram being reviewed
today.
Crucial was kinda enough to send Tweaknews.net two 256 meg samples
for sampling. To keep everything fair, I only used one 256 meg stick
for benchmarking to conform to the 256 meg sample of Samsung PC2700
ram I was comparing it to.
Taking a closer look you will see the 6ns Micron chips that Crucial
always uses seeing that Micron actually owns them. Makes sense doesn't
it? For your information, the Samsung memory uses Micron memory chips
as well with the only difference being that it is rated at CAS2 and
has 5ns memory.
Just for the reader verification, I decided to take a couple shots
of the actual ram specifications illustrated on the stick of ram itself.
Just to show you the actual ram tested. ;)
