Moving on to the headband, the lower section is adjustable for an extra 30mm/1.25" extension for those adorned with a huge noggin' like myself. The nice thing is that they didn't skimp on the extension and I could even bring it in from its farthest point. Did I mention I have a huge head.
Now this is something that I found VERY comfortable. Seeing I use a headset over 6 hours a day in order to keep my marriage, I find that after extended use the center portion of my head will become sore from the center padding pushing into my head while using other headsets. With the CS-HP500, I though the lack of the center padding would lead to irritation, but low and behold, it didn't! IT SOLVED IT! It's so nice to be comfortable. They fit perfect.
To keep this set of headphones as portable as possible, they limited the cord to five feet which is still perfectly acceptable for a good headset. I know I personally don't stand 10 feet from my music source so the extra cord just turns into something I trip over all the time. Also, if you have a home theater system with the larger headphone connection, the included adapter will come in handy. It's not a huge deal but little additions like this make me respect that a company is really trying to make a good impression.
