Corsair's memory kits ship in a standard blister package which offers minimal protection during transport. Make sure your reseller packages your investment properly and not just throw it into an envelope.

Inside the package is two 512Meg sticks to insert into your AMD or Intel system.

As you can see, the memory heatspreader are very large and do dissipate heat well if you have proper case ventilation.
