CORSAIR CORPORATE PROFILE
Corsair has many years of experience in qualifying high-performance
memories, and has developed a knowledge base and track record which
is among the best in the industry. Corsair also has strict standards
for product qualification; any changes in design, bill-of-materials,
and/or supplier, must be re-qualified prior to shipment to end customers.
These high standards, while somewhat time consuming, have resulted in
a very robust product, with extremely few failures, returns, or compatibility
problems. Corsair's Compatibility Lab also tests our memory for compatibility
with major system platforms, including motherboards from all the industry
leaders. Our web site provides an up-to-date reference on which memory
is the best fit for which motherboard. Careful memory qualification
is required to help eliminate the uncertainty of the interactions between
different components in a given computer system. Corsair has implemented
a qualification procedure that is among the most stringent in the industry.
While such a strong qualification procedure cannot eliminate risk entirely,
it ensures that the parts are as robust as possible, and are suitable
for today's mission-critical applications.
MEMORY INFORMATION
Corsair has a great online slide presentation which will brief you
with all the information you need to make an educated memory purchase.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Whether you are shopping for a performance computer based
on the AMD or Intel processor, in both cases you will currently need
dual channel memory. But, things will be evolving soon seeing Intel
has adopted the new DDR2 specification. As for AMD, well, by doing a
little research and a couple of phone calls, it looks like DCDDR400
will still remain the AMD standard for quite some time.

If you are going to hold off from purchasing a DDR2 based
Intel system and settle with a Canterwood or Springdale based motherboard
from Intel, or perhaps a Athlon64/XP nForce2(3) from AMD, you will be
in the market for some excellent memory from a variety of manufacturers.
When it comes down to any memory recommendation, Corsair is always one
of the top choices when it comes to enthusiast computing. Corsair's
higher standing in the enthusiast community is no urban legend or fluke.
They make exceptionally high quality memory backed by a rock solid warranty,
that is if you will ever need it. I know personally through the testing
of numerous Corsair Memory kits here at Tweaknews I have NEVER had one
single bad stick of Corsair memory grace my testbed. One drawback is
that Corsair's memory is not the cheapest on the market but as the old
saying goes "You get what you paid for.". You go the cheap
route, you will be getting to know the three letter irritant "RMA"
rather well.
Today I will be reviewing Corsair's latest PRO memory
release, the TWINX1024-3200XLPRO Memory Kit. Boasted low latency timings
of 2-5-2-2 and Corsair's patented activity LED heatspreader, if you
are in the market for lowest latency memory with industry leading features,
stay tuned..........
