Corsair strongly emphasizes the premium-grade materials used to construct these speakers. Six class-D amplifiers deliver 232W of power that is measured to US FTC standards, something that most other PC speaker systems cannot claim. The SP2500 also boasts a high-efficiency, custom PSU which plays a large role in the overall acoustic output. Any enthusiast will agree that Corsair is one of the leading manufacturers of PC power supplies, so it's safe to say that in terms of power this set is built with some of the best components on the market.

It's evident from the first look at the packaging that Corsair means business. With a shipping weight of over 30 lbs. and the largest box I've ever seen for a 2.1 system, this is definitely not your average set of speakers.
With a price of $250 from online retailers, it's imperative that the speakers are well protected during the shipping process. Corsair did a good job; the contents inside were carefully wrapped, well organized and in pristine condition.
