The H50 supports all modern processors from AMD and Intel, including the new socket 1366 and 1156 units, and promises great cooling and quiet operation. For bolt-in convenience, users will need a case with a 120mm rear fan mount. Not mentioned in the spec, the box intimates that Corsair has teamed up with Asetek on the H50 project.

 

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The attractive carton boasts, “cool, quiet, easy to install.” We'll see about those claims a bit later. It's what's inside that counts, though.

The H50 comes nicely packaged with everything you'll need to liquid cool your processor. A quick start guide covers the installation tasks up until it's time to deal with the socket.
