PRODUCT COMPOSITION

The retail box is pure Corsair. Simple, effective and informative. Inside…

…the A50 has to be one of the best packaged coolers I've had in the lab. The cooler is completely encased in dense foam with the fan and mounting solutions in a separate cardboard box with a divider to keep everything separate and protected. The quick start guide is actually quite thorough and should be more than sufficient to get the cooler installed.
PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

Mr. Bones really likes the design of the A50. The tight-radius bends on the ‘pipes and the relatively large open area below the first fin leaves plenty of room for motherboard components surrounding the socket. The A50 has a relatively narrow cross-section as well, allowing it to fit in most any case that will accept its 6.25-inch height.

All the fins have the Corsair logo stamped into them, but the top one features a black finish that sets off the copper heatpipes to good effect. The small notches in the fins interface with the fan mounting tabs that we'll examine a bit later.
