PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES
The Falcon 92-Al is a rather large, but relatively lightweight cooler. The 6mm copper heatpipes and base should provide good heat movement from the CPU to the aluminum fins to be dissipated by the 92mm green LED fan. The fan has a 4-pin PWM-compatible power cable and also features its own thermistor to regulate fan speed. These features should provide good cooling with a minimum of fan noise. Advertised compatibility is quite good with LGA775, 478 & AMD 754/939/940/AM2 sockets supported. (While Intel socket 478 is listed as supported on the Cooljag website, I found no mention of it in the manual and no included hardware for the 478 platform. Intel 478 users need to look elsewhere.)
The retail box has a carry handle and a large cutout to give the buyer a good look at the product. The box is easily opened and the cooler itself is housed in a clear plastic clamshell container to protect it during shipping. A smaller black cardboard box contains the manual and related accessories.
Along with the cooler and manual, mounting solutions for the above mentioned platforms are included complete with brass nipples and steel screws. The cooler had the Intel 775 bracket attached to the base right out of the box. The manual is brief, but fairly good, and should present the user with all necessary information to get the Falcon 92-Al installed. Cooljag has also included a small syringe of thermal paste and a tool to spread it with.
