PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

The Storm Sniper has a distinctive look that is both sleek and aggressive. The mesh front and ribbed top exhaust vent add some visual appeal to the otherwise flat black panels.

A full-featured IO panel resides top-front. From left to right, there is a small reset button and large power switch button. Pressing the large knob toggles LED lighting on and off, while turning it clockwise to increase fan speeds. I really like the idea behind this feature and am anxious to see how in works in practice. I/O options are plentiful and varied with four nicely spaced USB ports plus a firewire and eSATA port. Cooler Master didn't forget the microphone and headphone jacks along with HDD activity and power LEDs. Just behind all this I/O goodness is a recess just large enough to get a hand under and serve as a handle for moving the case. There's an identical one towards the rear of the case for the same purpose, and I like this feature a lot. The chrome sniper logo is a nice touch too.

Looking at the left side, the panel has the same raised feature as the other side, but incorporates mesh into the design. As we'll see a bit later, there are fan mounts on the inside surface of this panel for increased ventilation, but no fans are included.

The rear of the Sniper reveals that the PSU lives at the bottom of the case and Cooler Master gives the nod to the watercooling community with two sets of tubing openings. The top two come with the grommets pre-installed, while the lower two, just right of the PSU opening, have break-outs and the included grommets will have to be installed by the user. A 120mm exhaust fan is included here and the customary seven expansion bays and rear I/O opening are also provided.
