Basically, what we've got here is a mid-tower steel chassis with three large cooling fans (and placements for a few more) and an interesting feature set. We'll go over these features in more detail later, but for now have a look at the above specs and feature lists.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Here's the box that showed up here at the lab. In typical Cooler Master fashion, the carton is sturdy, informative and attractive. Inside, the Storm Sniper was packaged in a plastic bag sandwiched between two foam blocks. While this is more than adequate, it's also unremarkable. The chassis arrived in pristine condition after its long trip across the country and I was eager to see what Cooler Master's new Storm Sniper case brings to the table.

Cooler Master supplies what they call an operator's manual that's enclosed in a zip-bag and taped to the outside of the case. It's informative, comprehensive and multi-lingual. It has lots of illustrations, but they are all in black-and-white.

Cooler Master also supplies several zip-ties, some watercooling tubing grommets, four rubber feet, floppy drive rails and a bag of standoffs, screws and other hardware. Now, let's get a closer look at the Storm Sniper chassis.
