PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

…and the top of the chassis. The interior of the Sileo is relatively Spartan and cable management options are sorely lacking. Notice, however that the PSU placement area is padded on the backplane and all support surfaces to minimize any noise producrd by the power supply.

The drive cages feature tool-free mechanisms and, as we'll see in a bit, there are drive rails to minimize HDD noise. The lower cage holds 3 hard drives and another one can be installed in lieu of a floppy or other device. Ventilation slots along both sides of the bezel provide air inlet for the front fan.

There is also a tool free expansion card feature in the Sileo 500 and some ventilation holes on the rear panel. While these features obviously won't make the case any quieter, they may aid cooling performance and ease installation. We'll see.

Along with the instruction sheet, Cooler Master provides HDD drive rails and a bag of installation hardware that includes a ferrite ring for the front panel wiring to prevent EMI problems and induced noise.
