PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH
Cooler Master proudly displays their logo in several places on the Silent Pro. The finish is a pleasing black color with very little texture and a raised medallion on the top is protected by a plastic film. The native cables are sleeved in a black mesh material and consist of…
…a 4X4 12V cable to support the EPS standard and a 20+4 pin main ATX cable.
The case is just large enough to fit the 135mm fan and the black wire grill sports the Cooler Master logo. Peeking in through the rear mesh, we can get a look at the premium Japanese capacitors and massive heatsinks. The extra holes around the perimeter of the case accept the silicone gasket, as we'll see a bit later.
On the other end, the sockets for the modular cables are labeled for quick reference and gasket holes are in evidence here as well. Notice that, while the exit hole for the native cables lack a grommet, the cables are sleeved all the way inside the case. This makes for a very clean appearance here.
The obligatory label gives us some basic information about the Silent Pro and the UL number shows Cooler Master as the manufacturer, though I doubt that they make this PSU in-house.
We'll take a closer look at the modular cables during installation, but the above graphic illustrates the cable lengths and connector arrangement. Note the PCI-e cable design with its 6+2 connectors. This looks to be a great little PSU, let's get it installed and see how it does.
