CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

Coolermaster caters directly to the most demanding of systems with this 850W PSU. With six +12V rails and six PCI-e connectors, it provides plenty of power for high end rigs and leaves ample room for future upgradeability. There are more than enough SATA and Molex connectors for drives and fans and the cables are long enough to be used in a full tower case. My only gripe was the task of hiding all the leftover cables - I've become spoiled by modular cabling and really missed it.
The performance demonstrated by this PSU is quite impressive. While my system doesn't have an SLI setup or top of the line hardware, I still wasn't expecting the voltages to be as rock solid as they were during load phases. If you have a power hungry machine, the Real Power Pro will deliver stable voltages and still be screaming for more.
Pros:
- Six +12v rails
- Six PCI-e connectors
- Excellent performance
- Quiet fan
- Good build quality
- Five year warranty
Cons:
- Not modular
- No on/off switch
- Can only be used with 24-pin motherboard connections
