PRODUCT COMPOSITION
To keep cost (and price) down, Cooler Master doesn't splurge on fancy, glossy graphics for the HAF 912's carton. Yet it's still a durable cardboard package with enough monochrome graphics and information to let the consumer know what they're getting.
Inside, Cooler Master relies on a tried-and-true packing scheme with the case enveloped in a plastic bag and sandwiched between Styrofoam blocks. While the package seems to have endured some rough handling en route to the lab, the case arrived in pristine condition.
Cooler Master includes a small box of accessories inside the case. This, of course, includes all the drive rails and hardware necessary to get your components installed in the case. The 5.25- to 3.5-inch adapter is stamped steel, while the 3.5- to dual 2.5-inch bay adaptor is plastic. We'll go over these items in more detail during installation.
