PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES
Looks like we'll have good cooling, plenty of room for hardware, a full featured I/O panel and some welcome convenience features in store for us. Time will tell as we proceed through the review. Two (one each 120mm and 140mm) fans are included with room for three more, so cooling should not be an issue with the option to augment performance should the need arise.
The specifications (taken from the Cooler Master website) allude to the availability of a Gladiator 600 with a side window, but I was unable to find one for sale.
The Gladiator 600 comes in a sturdy carton with a glossy finish featuring graphics of the case and some of its features. Relatively complete specifications can be found on the sides of the box along with some handle cutouts to make moving the carton a bit easier.
Cooler Master packages the Gladiator in a plastic bag sandwiched between two Styrofoam blocks, with the shiny bits of the chassis further protected by plastic sheeting. This packing scheme seems to work well as the carton took a significant hit during shipment (evidenced by a large “dent” in the carton,) yet the Gladiator arrived in fine shape, both structurally and cosmetically.
Included with the case is a floppy device adapter for the front panel, a bag of installation hardware, a single fan dust filter and HDD rails. We'll go over these items in more detail later as we're installing the selected hardware.
