When the switch is engaged, the bottom of the mouse will pop up to provide improved ergonomics while it's being used.

There's also a compartment to store the receiver when traveling. This is a clever use of space by Choiix, I have to say.

The USB receiver is very tiny and this unobtrusive design is perfect for laptop and netbook use. It's so small that I almost forgot it was taking up a USB port.
