Another debut was the Karim Rashid Collection line of EEE pc netbooks. With the seashell design keeping things exceptionally thin, the new line is more portable while still looking great.
And the flagship unveiled was the Asus ROG G73jh gaming laptop complete with a i7/i5 processor, 17.3 inch screen and the Mobility HD 5870 videocard. This laptop should keep up with any desktop computer.
And with that, the ASUS event was over and it was time to move on to press registration and to get ready for the CES Unveiled Event.
CES UNVEILED
The CES Unveiled Pre-CES opening event is more or less a meet and greet between the press and attending manufacturers. Consider it a very small taste of the CES floor but with smaller booths and limited space.
In Win
The first booth as I entered the event was from our friends at In Win. Our press contact Irene Huang met with us and discussed what was new and what we could expect in 2010.
In Win's mystery case has yet to be named and you can help name it. This mid-tower might seem small, but it can hold two full length HD5970 videocards in Crossfire. This is amazing for such a small case. Although it looks large in the photos, the case actually quite compact. What do you think would be a good name for it?
