AXLE GEFORCE GT 220 VIDEOCARD INTRODUCTION
Although Axle is not a known manufacturer in North America, it has been a very popular brand name in the asian market for several years. With every manufacturer within current memory, they eventually climb the huge mountain called the north america market and jump into the shark tank to swim and hopefully survive amongst more established names in the business.
With that being said, they offered us a Geforce GT 220 with 2Gb of DDR2 memory to try out and see how it faired against more recent competition. Now for around US$50-$65, you can't expect much in terms of killer performance, but this card was never intended to be a screamer but we will give it a try and see just how it does during some DirectX 10 benchmarking. With no cost effective DX11 alternative on the market yet, this is close to the cheapest recent Geforce card you can get.
