PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

At just over 9 ½ inches tall, the TS Mini really is just that – mini. It won't take up a ton of room on your desk and has a simple, uncluttered design. The case has a piano black finish which looks great, but is also a magnet for fingerprints and dust.

Blue LED indicators line the bottom of the unit. From left to right we have power, HDD1, HDD2, and network activity lights.

The power button is found on top of the unit and it also shines blue. This entire top area is well ventilated so warm air can escape. There are two exhaust fans right underneath this area on the inside of the case.

The bottom is also well ventilated and has four feet that allow the server to be elevated off the desk just a bit, which also helps with air circulation.

At the back we have six USB 2.0 ports and two eSATA ports for adding external storage. The eSATA ports offer multiplexing support for maximum performance and upgradeability. As you can see, there's nowhere to attach a monitor so the system must be administered from another machine on the network. Also take note of the two thumbscrews – that's how the inside is accessed, so let's take a peek.
