The box turned out to be smaller than I anticipated, but that can only be a good thing. Upon opening it I was greeted with a compact BD-RE drive and accessories that were all carefully packaged. And if one BD drive isn't enough, there are photos of other models of Asus drives on the cardboard insert for you to take a look at.
For $169 US you get the BD-RE drive as well as all the accessories pictured here. Included are a quick start guide, software CD, stand, USB Y-cable, and a set of paper 3D glasses.
PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH
I have to hand it to Asus - they were successful in designing an external drive that is lightweight, compact, and stylish. The small size makes it a good companion to a laptop or netbook. The glossy finish does show fingerprints pretty easily, though.
