ASUS RT-N12 INTRODUCTION
Tweaknews has had the opportunity to test out several Asus routers, and by and large they have proven to be excellent performers with an easy to use stock interface that users of all skill levels can easily navigate. Many models from Asus also support open-source firmware that unleashes a host of additional features to keep enthusiasts happy.
In terms of cost, the last couple of Asus routers we've looked at have been $100 and up. For the budget-minded consumer that price might be a bit too high, so it's time for a low-cost router to be in the spotlight again. Enter the Asus RT-N12 - this router supports 802.11b/g/n and features two external detachable antennas, easy firmware restoration, three operation modes, and more. Click the "page 2" link at the bottom of this page to follow along as I take this router for a test run.
