The O!Play Mini sports a piano black finish on top of the unit with subtle decorative swirls and a logo. Dimensions are a very conservative 5.9 x 4.2 x 1.1 inches, so this is a device that can find a home in even the most cluttered of areas.
On the front are slots for a SD/MMC/MS/xD card and a USB 2.0 port for attaching external drives. To the left of the card slot is a blue power LED, and to right of the card slot is an IR receiver.
At the back of the unit we have the composite, HDMI and optical outputs, as well as a small reset button for restoring factory settings.
The bottom of the unit has four small rubber feet to help prevent the unit from sliding around. While they are better than nothing, I still had issues with the player being easily bumped around due to its light weight.
The remote sports a matte black finish with fairly large navigation buttons and all the command buttons one would expect. The volume buttons could be a bit larger and placed closer to the navigation buttons, but overall it's a decent setup.
