Product Composition & Features

This is the clear difference between my old case (Inwin A500) and the Antec Plus 1080 AMG. The Inwin might look impressive but it's the wheels that make it look bigger. It can only fit 4 drives if you don't intend to use a floppy and you can rest assured that you will fry your drives in an instant..

Ah ....the box it came shipped in. Sturdy box and even though the box was tossed around really badly it kept the case in one piece. Gotta love the front image.

They included two bags of keys (four in total) and two powercords for the Antec Truepower 430 which is included by default. (I will review this PSU as soon as this review is done.) And of cours they included the beautiful case.

First time I opened the front door there was one front bracket missing so i put in one of the cdroms I own. Looks great already ! Now let's see what else is there.

The led's at the right of the powerbutton caught my eye and I thought you might wanted to see it up close.

Now those are tucked away like they should. But access to them is really easy. So I won't be bending down to the back of my case ever again.

A small peek at the inside... it screams to be filled with performance components. So, who am I to withhold such delight? Notice the ample space around the motherboard ? I was so eager to fill this baby up that I didn't get any pictures of the empty case.

Well hello !!! Two Antec fans in the back who will be blowing out hot air. Now that's a good bonus that Antec provides : cooling guaranteed.

Here they are again, but from the backside this time.

Speaking about cooling : notice the sidepanel fan ? Same fantype, but I was a little disappointed to see that it was blowing out of the case. When you have two fans blowing out of the case you need some more pressure blowing inward. Oh well, that was fixed in a jiffy. In the end it decreased the heat of the processor another 3 C.
