PRODUCT PICTORIAL AND WALKTHROUGH

Expansion cards are held securely by a removable clear plastic bar that incorporates threaded brass inserts to accept mounting screws. Two screws hold the bar in place and will have to be removed to install any expansion cards and then replaced, an unavoidable extra step dictated by the design. Two spring clips, one of which is indicated by the red arrow, allow the honeycomb mesh side panels to come off for installation access.

Around front, there are the drive bays. There is room for two ODDs and two HDDs here, and one can mount up to four additional 3.5” devices
externally on the frame for additional storage capacity.

Switches and I/O ports are located across the front support rail and consist of, from left to right, a HDD activity light, reset switch, FireWire, two USB, an e SATA and two audio ports followed by the main power button.

Cabling for the above switches and ports are well documented in the manual and well marked on the connectors, but the cables are a bit short. This is a two-edged sword as short cables will make for a better looking and tidier installation, but can be frustrating to install.
