CONCLUSIONS AND AFTERTHOUGHTS

All in all this is a very poor showing from Antazone. Whilst the build quality was superb and the finish very clean and tidy the cooling performance and mounting solution really let this product down. I can't in good conscience recommend this cooler to anyone. The price is good for a copper cooler but unless you want a new cooler for your dated P4 Northwood or Socket A system then you'd better keep looking. AMD users with older CPUs and unprotected cores will also want to steer clear unless they have a spacer to protect their core. I don't like having to tear a product apart like this but I have to tell it like it is.
Given the quality of the construction of this cooler though I will say keep an eye on Antazone, they may yet produce a good cooler if they address all the issues found in the AS-C1000.
Pros
- Good build quality
- Looks cool
Cons
- Not up to standard with current CPUs
- Terrible mounting solution
- Poor design
- Poor performance
